SIC Project is an independent project born in 2024

SIC Project is an independent project born in 2024 from the coming together of songs by composer Salvatore Iaia, reorganized and produced for the first time after years of silent writing.

At its core are social and intimate themes, expressed through a personal, impressionistic approach, blending singer-songwriter tradition, psychedelic rock, and noise electronics.

The first EP, TARDIGRADO, brings together five tracks that explore resistance—emotional, social, and psychological.

SIC Project is a musical project born from songs written over the past fifteen years by Sal Iaia, composer, singer-songwriter, and sound designer active in the fields of theatre and experimental music.

What began as private songs, created out of a personal expressive need, has gradually transformed through encounters with other musicians, evolving into a collective and constantly developing project.

Since 2025, SIC Project has been presented to the public in a structured form, with a stable lineup consisting of Sal Iaia (vocals, guitar, cello), Emanuele Nidi (keyboards, guitars, vocals), Giuseppe Calvano (guitars), Emanuele Rizzi (drums), and Fabrizio Fiore (bass).

Its sonic direction is a living flow, moving between acoustic punk, psychedelic rock, and noise, also shaped by the use of instruments such as the no-input mixer and analog synthesizers.

The lyrics are deeply rooted in modern philosophy and psychoanalysis, addressing themes of resistance, care of the soul, memory, and the meaning of existence. The music moves with urgency and vision, between lyrical anger and dissonant sweetness, offering an experience of strong emotional and intellectual impact.

SIC Project presents itself as an independent, sincere, and powerful project, ready to engage with spaces that give voice to experimentation and contemporary songwriting.
