Shipwrecked

The focal point of this work was placed on the question: How to remodel the idea of Romanticism through a personal research in movement?

The image of a ship, as in the title Shipwrecked, therefore played a symbolic role to express the idea of a long journey through life experiences.

The uncertainty of a life travel causes fear and hope, a ship we’re in could be wrecked at any moment but this hopeful chanting may help us get back from a darker place.

This research process led to a climax of emotional expression through movement that has been distorted and rebuilt to complete the final atmosphere of the play.
