The collective
Spazio 8 - International Dance Platform - is dedicated to promoting dance and contemporary performing arts. It is committed to fostering artistic expression and cultural development through various initiatives, including workshops, performances, and events. Every year, Spazio 8 organizes the CORA Dance Festival during the last two weeks of August, bringing together artists and audiences from around the world to celebrate contemporary dance and performance art.

CORA Dance Festival is promoted and organized by ASD/APS Spazio 8, a Non-Profit Sports and Social Promotion Association dedicated to the spread of dance and contemporary performing arts. Thanks to the support of both public and private institutions, we are able to achieve some of our main goals: contributing to the development of our territory, promoting art and culture as tools for better understanding our times, and offering as many of our services as possible free of charge or at affordable rates for everyone.
You can make a difference too!
Your support allows us to organize live performances, educational activities, and, in particular, enhance the Cora Dance Festival, one of the most significant events in our programming. The festival needs adequate venues for workshops, spaces to host hundreds of participants from around the world, and theaters for the live performances.
We are committed to managing funds with the utmost attention, using every available resource to reach the goals of our organization and meet the needs of our community, ensuring transparency and accountability.

NATIONAL DONATIONS
VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS FROM INDIVIDUALS RESIDING IN ITALY
Voluntary contributions are donations or contributions made by individuals or legal entities (associations, foundations, private citizens or companies) in favor of Third Sector organizations, non-profit organizations, cultural, artistic, or social associations, etc.
In other words, they are freely donated sums of money, with no obligation, to support public interest projects. These donations can be deducted or subtracted from taxes. They are a form of donation that benefits both the donor (through tax savings) and the supported cause (by financing useful projects).
In Italy, donations made to non-profit entities, such as Spazio 8, can benefit from tax advantages:

Tax Deductions: If the donation is made by an individual, they can benefit from a deduction from their income tax (IRPEF).

Tax Deductibility: If made by a company or business, the donation can be deducted from taxable income, reducing the amount on which taxes are calculated.

Support for Concrete Projects: Donations help finance cultural, social, or educational projects that have a positive impact on the community.
How do they work? It’s simple! You can make a donation through bank transfer, credit or debit card payment, bank check, or postal payment. Be sure to keep the receipt of your bank or postal transaction, the bank statement, or any document confirming the payment. In the 730 tax return, you will need to refer to section E (Expenses and Costs) to deduct or subtract donations. Look for section “I” and lines between E8 and E10 (Other Expenses). Here, you need to indicate the donation amount for tax purposes and the code for the expense type.
ART BONUS
What is it?
Under Article 1 of Legislative Decree 31.5.2014, No. 83, "Urgent provisions for the protection of cultural heritage, the development of culture, and the revival of tourism", converted into Law No. 106 of 29/07/2014 and its amendments, a tax credit was introduced for monetary donations to support culture and the arts, promoting patronage for cultural heritage.
Anyone who makes a monetary donation to support culture, as per the law, can enjoy a tax credit equal to 65% of the donation amount.
How to make a donation via Art Bonus?

Contact us to agree upon the details of money transfer (through a bank, post office, debit or credit and debit cards, bank checks).

Save the receipt of the Art bonus transaction to take advantage of the tax benefits.

In the tax return include the donation amount to receive the tax deduction or exemption.

The 5x1000 costs you nothing. It’s an opportunity every citizen can take advantage of to allocate a part of their income tax (IRPEF) to Third Sector projects. Even those who don’t file a tax return and only have the CU (Consolidated Income Statement) provided by their employer or pension institution, can donate their 5x1000.

Here’s a practical example: If your income tax (IRPEF) to be paid is €8000, your 5x1000 will be €40. With this amount, we can buy two elastic bands, useful for improving strength and flexibility for children during dance lessons.
