OH MY GOSH! Performance staged for workshop participants
"Oh my gosh" was the title of the performance held at Palazzo Galeota, which emerged from a 4-day workshop with Horacio Macuacua, attended by 21 dancers from different parts of the world.
The show was a journey through human moods and emotions, ranging from anger and frustration to melancholy and uncertainty, ultimately finding joy, lightness, and the innate spontaneity of children hidden within each of us.
The strength of the group and the use of voice combined with movement made the dancers' gestures tangible and concrete, translating energy into matter and conveying a deep meaning to the audience.
The individual identities of the dancers had the opportunity to express themselves before an attentive and large audience, sending a message and leaving questions suspended in the air. After all, the purpose of a performance is to spark curiosity and provoke questions, encouraging individual reflection.
