Mariella Rinaldi, originally from Puglia, began her studies in classical and contemporary dance at the Centro di Formazione Spazio Danza in Barletta, directed by Angela Dimiccoli.
She graduated in Publishing and Journalism from the University of Bari "A. Moro," and in 2010, she was admitted to the Triennio Tecnico Analitico for dancers, specializing in contemporary dance, at the Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Rome.
She completed her studies at the Academy in 2016, obtaining a second-level diploma in the Teaching of Choreutic Disciplines, with a focus on contemporary dance.
Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work with internationally renowned choreographers such as Sharon Fridman, Micha van Hoecke, Marcos Morau, Maurice Causey, Giorgio Rossi, Simona Bertozzi, Maud de la Purification, Rodolpho Leoni, Nina Dipla, and Tamas Geza Moricz.
She later moved to Paris, where she trained at the Conservatoire de Danse de Villejuif and worked as an intern with choreographer and teacher Bea Buffin.
She also edited the publication Le Relazioni Armoniche Ferentillo and the Residenze d’Arte by Professor Cristina Caponera (Thyrus Editions, January 2016, Arrone).
Since 2017, she has been part of the AIRDanza association, directed by Professor Francesca Falcone.
In January 2019, she earned her Master's degree in Theater, Cinema, and Digital Performance: Theories and Techniques from the University La Sapienza of Rome.
Currently, she teaches contemporary dance technique and dance history at the Liceo Coreutico Ciardo Pellegrino in Lecce.
She is also active in choreographic research and collaborates with several local associations, including AMA, the Accademia Mediterranea dell'Attore directed by Franco Ungaro, and Astragali Teatro, a production and training center led by Fabio Tolledi.
